Volant Intake

Just purchased a new Volant Cold Air Intake earlier today.....was gonna go with some magnaflow cats but i didnt feel like buying 4 of them . I've heard pretty good things about Volant from the various shops I've visited all of them specializing in trucks and truck accessories. Wondering if anyone here had a Volant and what there thoughts of them are. Should be getting it on Fri or Sat, i'll show some pics and let ya'll know how its working out for me....

well i installed the Volant Cold Air Intake yesterday....it took me about an hour and half cause I'm a complete idiot when it comes to working under the hood . Anyway I must say I'm really impressed with it, I can feel the change in pickup/power compared to the factory air intake. Oh and it makes a nice sound under the hood when you slam the gas

Looks good. Good choice with the Volant, I will probably buy one of those too, that or S&B.

& on a side note, why would you buy 4 Magnaflow cats?? Just buy the rear cats ( part #94006 ) and have them installed. The pre-cats act more like resonators than cats. So the deleting of those will help well and not mess up any codes. As long as the rear O2 sensors are mounted close to the new cats as they are on the OEM ones no worries.
