factory muffler

I just cut off my turn down and put the stock muffler and tail-pipe back on. It feels like I lost a lot of throttle response and power. Is it in my head or does that big muffler really make that much difference?

Probably lost some in the upper RPMs, but I think it's mostly in your head...

I think that big muffler chokes your car's exhaust.

I think mine is the best performing for the low end power, but not for high end, and deifnitely not a good 'hearable' exhaust. But my trucks low end torque is amazing with it all stock . So was my Chevys before I did the true duals.
