Hi Turbo
Glad you did not have to many problems. Did the 99 pvc pipe work? I have a 4x2 with a E40D trans. Not as long as the 4x4 trans. Dont think I would have the mid pipe problems. Hows It sound? Did you notice any gain in performance?

Okay, so I have finished the install! I had a lot of time so I didn't hurry at all! I welded and fabricated it all myself. I extended the left pipe, just after the resonator, 3 inches to fit around my trans crossmember. I also made a 3 bolt flange setup just after the resonator on the right side (since the pipe was originally designed to slide in together, there was just the extra length I needed). Then I cut, welded, and flanged the y-pipe to the 3" gibson exhaust. As for the EGR pipe, I did end up buying one for a 2000 5.4l and it fit perfectly to my 1997 5.4l! This is definately a must if you Own a 97 or 98 and want to use the obx headers!!! The install of the egr pipe was clean, simple and no bending necessary!

All in all, it was quite a bit of work but well worth it!! I feel better power on the bottom end, and most importantly I got rid of the crappy shorty headers! After going through 2 sets of shorty headers that caused me nothing but problems, I've finally found the solution with this kit!
