Magnflow High Flow Cats Video
I left the O2s in the stock place in the stockpipe. There are 2 before the cats and 2 after. I had to replace the 2 before the cats because my truck ran like crap after the cat replacement. Does this answer your question?
In a way. I have 2 before the pre cats and 2 mid-bed in the main cats. I want to install a true dual system and i hear that if you dont have the O2 sensors in the right place after the mod the engine will run like crap. I want to simply replace the OEM equipment with Magnaflow highflow cats and flowmaster 40 series delta force mufflers havent decided an exit style yet. All 2.5" pipe. I'm just trying to research it before i drop all the money into it.
I'm jet engine mechanic for the air force for the past 3 years my vehicle engine knowledge has gotten rusty.

X pipe combines both exhaust manifold systems into one, making a louder sound, giving the greatest back pressure with possible noticeable torque gains.
No offense, but in my opinion that sounds really bad. Loud, obnoxious, and no tone. Reminds me of our old school tractor on the ranch.
Your low end torque has got to be suffering with no mufflers and high flowing cats due to a lack of backpressure.
But hey, its your truck. If you like it, thats all that matters.

2x on that Typow07
Msall150, what kind of exhaust do you have? I can't stand the thought of spending hundreds of dollars on something that pisses me off when I rev it up because I can't hear it. I spent 8 years hearing Chevys and Dodges blow my exhaust away and finally I've got an exhaust that has that loud redneck beat to it, kind of like those $300,000+ cars that scat around the track on Sundays
No offense, but if you don't like it then go to another thread to post comments. My dad says it's too loud to but he's 56 years old and when he was 24 his Harley's, Mustangs, 1955 Ford truck, and Corvettes were loud as fukc. I've never heard a tractor sound like that but when I do I'll buy it to drive back and forth to work.

This board is about opinions and trying to help one another, I'm just throwing out an opinion and a constructive argument. Straight pipes are NOT good for performance, its been proven over and over again on dynos.
But like i said earlier:

I know what you mean...Yeah the performance aspect may not be there with straight pipes but it's cheap and loud and I'm no dyno expert. I'm just glad she's still running with 199,000 miles. Heh, I'll let you off the hook since you have that Roush exhaust...they're one hell of race team. Ford's Rock any way you put them. Post a vid of your exhaust if you can, you never know I might want a muffler one of these days. Have a good'en.
