Mustang Headers on 2005 F-150

I have a really nice set of JBA headers that I bought for my mustang before I sold it. Does anyone know if they will work on a 2005 F-150 4.6L? The mounting appears to be the same and the position comes out to the same relative position as the stock manifold. Is there a down side to using them?
I have seen this question asked a lot on different forums but no difinitive answer. Anyone have any ideas? I can't see any reason the performance would be worse than using the stock manifold...

Cool

Thanks for your input. I would really hate to do this more than once. It doesn't look like an easy job. I know that I won't get optimal performance from them, but they have to be much better than the stock manifold.

sell them and get long tubes, shorties are not worth the cost or time to install
