This is probably a silly question but I'll ask it anyway. I ordered a Borla Pro XS 2.5" SI/DO muffler and I'm looking at the Edelbrock Intercooled Tips. My question has to do with tip size, do I need to order 2.5" tips to fit inside the pipe? I have googled this but can't find the answer I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. I think your best bet is to put the exhaust on and then take it to you local exhaust shop and have them put tips on for you and if you really want the Edelbrock tips call edelbrock and ask Just tell them you have 2.5" pipes and need a tip that fits that size of pipe. As far as I know the tips go over the exhaust pipe and then are welded on or bolted on. Hope you get it figured out.
