Chrome Exhaust Tips

My tips are covered in rust spots all over. They are chrome and thought they would be protected against any rust.

What can I use to clear the rust out and the tips clean again?

Your best option would be to get stainless steel ones, chrome plated ones will just cause you grief forever.
