yeah i like my 77 series also! me and my dad did mine together, yes the heatshield stuff was a pain to get on but wasnt too bad. it does sound cool the air going through the metal intake tube, i can really hear it with the windows down. glad to hear you like it!

 

One other question...do these kits come with the filter oiled or do I also have to buy that recharger kit....I want to have everthing ready for when it comes...

Also where did you guys buy them from...I purchased my intake new on ebay from an authorized K&N dealer for under $200. Just curiuos to see if I could have purchased one cheaper...I really didnt shop around too much...later

Got mine from summit when they first released it, it cost $238, so you got a deal. Yes, the filter is preoiled, I would recommend getting a Pre Filter for it, I have had one since I had to replace my original over a year ago, and the filter still looks brand new.
