hi-flow cat question

i am thinking of ordering 2 magnaflow cats. on my 2000 f150 would i need to order the 2.5 in and 2.5 out ones? and how do people think the sound would be with my super 44 si/do muffler?, for any who have heard it before? and also, these wont give me any problems with say emissions for inspection and/or any CEL's? Do they do anything performance wise?
Thanks

They'll flow better. Your exhaust will be louder. Your questions should be answered in that link.

Yeah, 2 of the magnaflow cats will flow better, burn cleaner, and sound much better than the 4 factory cats.

get sound clips if you do it, im running 44s and also thinking of getting high-flows. I have the crap 4 stock factory cats and my exhaust is as quiet as stock at idle, i HATE that.

yea andy, i love the sound of it man!
idk what im going to do, but my local meineke quoted me 700 and the guy was completly honest with me and said i shouldnt do it because it will be on border line to pass emissions or something. he said if i want to get a good sound just get true duals done.

I did the same thing by going to my local Meineke, same thing told me that I will always have problems and I would not pass the emissions testing. Said he would do it but I was not willing to let someone do the work that was so sent against doing it in the first place. I have A total of $318.26 in my high flows with instalation. I love the sound, so does my buddy that has a Dodge 2500 hemi with a flowmaster on it. Check around for a local shop that will weld everything and will use your parts if you bring them in.

I found some on ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/Exhaust-Direc...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

These are $51.99 each. That equals 103.98 + 13.99 S&H = $117.97. My local muffler shop will put them on for $80.00 labor. So I'm looking at a total of $197.97. This seems like a good deal to me. I also found them on http://www.performancepeddler.com/SC...=F-150&sCtrl=Y
Only $3.00 more dollars here, so I'm not sure which store to order from. Probably ebay because I need the 2.25" IN/OUT and performance peddler only has 2.50" IN/OUT.
