I'm running a Volant CAI & a Magnaflow 16614 SI/DO. I have used the Volant for a year;the Magnaflow was installed 2 months ago. I run Level2 with the tire & axle ratio changed. No complaints. I am considering a custom Edge tune.

Are you having any problems with your truck running to lean. I had the K&N 77 series CAI and I took it off because I was worried it would make my truck run to lean.

focus what year is your truck..97-03 arent moody about the CAI i have a 97 4.6L with the 77 and no lean probs at all. 04-present lean out with CAI. put your 77 back on and run about a week then pull one of your plugs and you should be able to tell if its lean or not.

sorry it is a 05 5.4. I may pull a plug to see. I could tell the difference when I looked at the exhaust there was as not as much burned oil on the exhaust.

My truck did not react well w/ the CAI and exhaust after installing my edge.
It would idle up and down on its own, and shift point/ rmps where everwhere.

Called bill and got a custom tune, runs like a differnt vehicle

For an out of the box Edge, any exhaust should be fine but I would use only the stock intake. The only one I might use would be the AF1 3" since Troyer indicated it would be fine. If I have to have an aftermarket intake, I would go with custom tunes.

OP, I know the best CAI for the Edge. It's all contained in the Search feature. Use it and all your questions will be answered.
