Ok, been working on my exhaust for about a week now. Got my Dyanatech's installed, with dual 2.5" lightning mid pipes going into a magnaflow x-pipe out to dual 2.5" pipe. It continues the duals into 2 Magnaflow 21" mufflers. Long story short, it's loud! Sounds like a muscle car! It's great but going to get old on long trips and pulling my boat. I'm thinking of switching to a Magnaflow Y rather than the X and then going into a single 3 inch muffler(28" long). I'm trying to guess if the single 3" exhaust would be quieter than the dual 2.5's. Will this quiet it down any?

Thats basically what I have. Two should be quieter than one I would think. I have the largest single in/single out they have. Each one of my two singles are as big as the dual in/dual out. So I really have twice the muffler now. Or at least I would think the two singles would be quieter than the dual in/dual out. That was a thought though to get it to fit under the truck. I'd like it quiet though.
