should i get a 2.5 or a 3.0 inch pipe??

what are the pros and cons of each?

A general rule is that you can increase factory size by 1/4"-1/2" to gain/not lose any power. In your case with the EDGE, I'd go with 1/2" bigger for maximum potential, so to speak.

I would go either 2 1/4 or 2 1/2. Stay away from 3 inch on your truck!!!

Edit... I see in your other thread you don't want to sacrifice sound with your new system. Since you are doing a 2 1/2 mid pipe i would go with 2 1/2 all the way back. The 2 1/4 would prob be a little more raspy and pop more than the 2 1/2 would. Some say to go no more than 2 1/4 on a true duel system but i just don't see the extra 1/4 inch hurting much for power. I hope your putting an X-Pipe in there????
Also built54 has always run 2 1/2 true duels i think and had no power loss.
