I just installed a set of shorty ford racing ss headers on my 5.4l ,,,.... cant get the damn ERG tube to line up and screw on to the headers .... any feedback willl help. I have tried bending the tube, but damn that tube is super strong! .... please help

 

I cut mine temporarily and used heater hose. That doesn't last. You need to cut it and add a compression fitting or union to splice it back together.

Measure the OD and head up to the hardware or better yet - Chop it in two right after the curve toward the top and take the small piece with you up their..

 

I had a napp gas torch in my truck so i used it to heat it then bend it. That sucker is stout though
