Still havent sold my dad (Santa) on the 3" AF1 for my 2004 5.4L F150 and need some more pros about it. I have already told him that it will help my horsepower and torque and mpgs. But then he wants to know why i need the horsepower. He asks if im gonna go racing or something like that. So if yall could just help me persuade my dad (Santa) to get me this for Christmas.

 

Well you got the big ones; HP, torque and MPG. He should be sold alone on MPG, his son will save a liitle bit more cash (well theoretically he should, until he realizes more power is more fun, and pedal gets pushed in further!). Tell him it'll help the engine breathe better, giving you better engine life. And remind him how when he was a kid he had his nice '69 Chevelle SS (or whatever he had) and he got to have fun, so why can't you do the same?!?!

Tell him your helping the environment by not having trees cut down to use in all them paper filters you would have had to buy. It will pay for its self after a while and that you wont ask him for money for a air filter ever again.:santa:

 

You need the increased HP, TQ, and MPG because you'll be doing more towing, not racing.
