Just got my intake in the mail. Install was kinda more tedious than I would like, but it wasn't bad. Definitely feel an improvement in throttle response...

Not yet, I had to do it in the dark. I'll try and snap some tomorrow.

You should'a went with the whole kit. It gives even more throttle response in my engine because of the polished-chrome tubing offering less air resistance. Plus it adds some glamour to the stock engine compartment when I open the hood. Mine is the K&N Series-77. I've also got some wires hangin' out up top from my twin Hella Driving/Fog lamps. I think I may wrap them up in black electrical tape to blend in.



Edit: It looks as if some of the vanes on your filtercharger are bent

 

Also, you may want to dump the throttle on takeoffs, but once you see how much gas your using, you will slow down! It took me a whole tank of gas used up in a week before I learned to accelerate slower and dont punch it

 

I got this one for cheap, so it's no big deal. It's mostly for looks. Cheesy bolt-ons don't do much on a small motor. The fins are a little wonky, but it's no big deal.

Oh, and I don't "dump throttle" unless I have to. My truck is for transportation and workin, so it needs to last me.
