Just installed a bbk throttle body that I got off ebay last week everything whent fine till I tried hooking up the cruise cable it was about a 1/4 inch off
I hooked it up anyway and it has the idle all jack up like 3000 rpm's so I took it back off for now ..but never had idle problems before today ..
so will the bbk+S/C combo not work with the cruise

I would be greatful for any help with this .. also the cruise has never worked in this truck Ive only had it since may...plan to take it in next week

 

looks like the bracket that holds the throttle cable and the cruise was bent a little.. I bent it back towards the firewall hooked the cables back up checked for full throttle started it up and all was good Hope this helps someone else
