Gibson Dual Extremes on 4.2L V6?

I was originally looking for either Magnaflow or Flowmasters, but none make any for the 4.2L from what I have seen. Gibson makes a good system, the Extreme Dual Exhaust that has dual side exits. Is it worth $500? I'm looking for mostly performance increase, mileage gain, and of course, sound. Any comments/thoughts? BTW, its a cat-back stainless-steel system, not that cheap aluminized crap.

Gibson is a nice looking system. I think that the flopro system sounds better on the 4.2L though

haha yeah thats never good. I have no idea what muffler he has though flo pro makes alot of mufflers. Maybe ask im what muffler it is I seen you commented to the one anti 4.2L guy there haha. I would say its a V force muffler though, doesn't sound anything like a twister or glasspack.

I had a similar Gibson set-up on my old '03 SCrew. It was very quiet compared to say, Magnaflow or Flowmaster. I had to have them replace the muffler under warranty after about 6 months because it started rattling from a broken baffle inside the muffler. The replacement muffler had no issues for the rest of time I owned that truck (~3 years).
