My buddy with his 150 got Magnaflow and I got Flowmaster, same exact trucks! You cannot tell the difference at all. Specs will tell all but seriously...... how much will that little more power get you goin on that heavy of a truck?

I've had Flowmasters on alot of my Mustangs and they all went quite well. I have also used MAC chambered mufflers, Dynomax, Borla, etc. I've used h-pipes, x-pipes, MAC Prochamber, you name it. And actually FEELING a difference or even seeing one at the track...nope. The only vehicles where I have seen a good HP difference was with turbo cars/trucks.

Magnaflow > *

I won't run anything else anymore.

Truck has magnaflows
Viper has magnaflows
Mustangs has magnaflows.

Kind of ironic that Troyer has been telling everyone that Magnaflow out performs Flow Master for years and nobody wanted to believe him. I have never known him to make a statement he couldn't back up....as his statements are made only after extensive testing.
Magnaflows the only system I will run on all of my vehicles..

I have Dynomax Ultraflows on my Mustang but they are a little raspy. IMHO nothing beats the sound of Borla Stingers on a Mustang! NASTY sounding.

A guy at my track runs a Dynomax Super Turbo catback on his 91 LX coupe. Alot of people would at that but he runs 9.6@145 in 100% street trim on stock Pony wheels with Hooiser Drag Radials!!! He went with those to keep the car as quiet as possible.

I agree.

I'll bet that truck sounded like it had 20 more hp with the flow's on even though it had less!

If I was going for HP numbers, I guess I'd have to by a magnaflow.

But I'd also put on smaller tires then too if that was my goal.

Hey Shift... I removed that stupid long signature line of yours. Let's not put all that crap back in there, okay?

Hey... lookie there. What's up Marc?

Like you, I've been running a Maggie for years now... nothing else will go on anything that I want to breathe a tad better.

The seat-of-the-pants feel by simply installing the Maggie was impressive...

Hey RP where you been? I pulled the plug and retired again so now maybe I will have a little spare time to spend on f150onlilne. I still read the threads daily but don't post nearly as much as I once did. I am kinda/sorta planning another trip to Mikes real soon. I haven't been down for almost 2 years!!
Hows the EPA thing going? I don't care if I never have to get involved in the environmental management arena again !!!! Just another reason to retire.
At least until something I want to do comes available...
Heading to Disney World again in June with my 16 year old daughter for the AAU Volleyball Tournament, so maybe the trip to Covington will have to wait.
Truck is running very well.
