flame throwers?

flame throwers?

im wanting to make/ get a kit to make flame throwers i was thinking of a small propane tank and a line going right by the tip with some type of spark to light the propane. if any one has any idea how to get this set up or has done this before any input would be nice. if not im sure me and a few of my red neck friends can firgure something red nex out....duck tape only works for like 3 days on exhuast pipe thoe so humm.....

you dont need propane. Just drill a hole in your exhaust pipe somewhere close to the end, then take a spark plug and attach it to the end, then take a plug wire connect it to the spark plug and then run power to it with a switch. the spark will ignite the unburnt gas and the fumes. my friend did it to his chevy and my uncle has one on his harley. they look awesome

i dont know how well the above metioned idea will work because most of the kits that do that make you kill the ignition at the same time. you could put a small metal pipe into your exhaust and run the probane through that, then further down the pipe add an electric grill sparker

I don't think I'd try it with propane. If you have cats it won't work. The fuel gets stopped be the cats and burns them out.

i think im going to try the propane one ive seen just the normal unburnt fuel one and those are only like 4-7 inch flames ive seen HUGE propane flame throwers before...just hope the flame doesnt come back up the fuel like.. but yeah once its all done ill deff put a video and some pics up. its gonna be prob 2-4 more weeks before i get to this point. so ill keep you guys updated thanks for the input!!

the hotlicks one works just like the one i described. thats where my friend got the idea

my exhuast turns down right after the last o2 senors and some how the guy b4 me hit the gas tank with a rock and its really mosit there but no leak and it smells like gas so....i dont want to put the flames on my turn downs lol. once i get my full exhuast ill do it then.
