How much could I expect to spend to put 4.5 inch tips and to cut my pipes right where they start to bend to come straight out the back. You know what I mean like it goes at and angle then bends to come straigh out I want it like 45ed or whatever angle it is. Because now that I have a body lift my pipes are kinda low and I want bigger tips on as well.



I wouldn't think it would be a whole lot. Also would it make the exhaust sound any different? With bigger tips does it mean a deeper and louder? Just wanted to know because I might get this done as like either part of a christmas gift or my birthday gift.

I wouldn't pay a shop more than $50 to do that. Plus the cost of your tips.

 

i myself havent seen 4.5 inch tips only 4 i have seen unless im missing something
i just bought 3.5 inch ones they are good enough for me at least

 

Uh...kind of I want mine with a little more bend like maybe a 55 degree bend. I thought they did make 4.5 inch tips because I could have swore I saw some in a 4 wheel parts magazine.It doesn't matter 4inch would be fine as well.

 

Another question when I went to get my exhuast done at the local exhaust shop probably 8 months ago he said he only carries 3in exhuast tips. Well I want you know either a 4 but really a 5 inch tip. Where on the internet can I find some single walled 45 angle cut 5in outlet exhaust tips at? I have searched and searched and haven't found anywhere with 5in tips beside clamp on diesle tips.

 

buying custom tips online is the best way to go, somewhere you will find 4.5" tips, check summitracing.com or performancepeddler.com and it should like the tips you want are direct fit side exit ones, that will look good.
