cut off muffler?

cut off muffler?

Hi, I want to disconnect my muffler fromt he exhaust on my 06 f250 5.4 until i get my duals put on in a few months. Will it hurt the truck in any way if i disconnect the muffler?

It won't hurt a thing except your ears.. lol

People bitch about "drone" from exhausts on here all the time.. expect some mind-numbing drone with no exhuast, cut off underneath the truck. It'll sound loud and nice to anyone not in the cab tho..

I'll give ya two weeks before you're wishing you had some kinda muffler..

lol, I am planning on getting duals in a month or so but i just want to try it, when i hate it i will get my duals, lol, thanks for the help

Naah, I thought about it and I think I am just going to wait and get my duals, thanks for the help.
