all the flowmasters I Had made my truck a dog off the line. I couldnt even spin the tires. With the magnaflow, its instant power, I can tell a huge difference. Trust me, im on my 20'th exhaust setup. I've tried them all. and im with a magnaflow right now and couldnt be happier. Power and sound!

Don't worry too much about old Bubba - it'a all good. You happy? It's what counts.

I was thinking that's why he didn't feel any torque loose.. - He may have upgraded from a Slowbastid 40 to a Slowbastid 50 .

That would explain it. - There both torque eaters..

Exactly how my truck ran with flow 40's!!!!^^^^^^
The only place the flows seemed to gain power was way up in the power band, not where you want it in a truck!!!I would take a stock exhaust b4 i used another flowmaster.Mine ran better with stock exhaust!!I never believed it either until i switched.

Every one says Magnaflows are quiet? Hell I have the 22" - 4" straight thru and it's not quiet - trust me, lol . When I was running all four cats it had a real deep rumble at take off and when you got on it - it wasn't shy.

Now , I chopped the rear cats , replaced with a 2.5 straight pipe , I'm running with just the 2 forward cats (The small ones) and it sounds like a GT Mustang when I take off normally.

I like the deep rumble better..I think I'm going to have an all new sound after this week end

BTW - torque DID NOT suffer with either configuration. I had the Flowmaster 50 series at one time , so I know what it's like to be without.
