Calling anyone with a '04 who cut 2 of the 4 cats off...

It's a simple question.. Does it still pass emissions inspection? And, does the computer throw any codes after you removed it?

I'm considering getting mine cut off before I put on my flow kit in the driveway. I have a mustang with flows and no cats and I like the sound. Those cats rob the power too. Just don't want any issues after I cut 'em, it is a daily driver... Might try and get them flanged after cutting them out, then put a strait pipe in it's place with a flange as well so I can swap it for inspection if need be.

Thoughts or advice?

cutting my 4 factory cats off and installing 2 high flow magnaflows burned cleaner than factory. No codes at all and no performance loss

I actaully will be sending in my truck on monday morning to get the back 2 cats cut off. I did a lil bit of research and another forum member has done it on his 04 as well. He said, it didnt throw any codes and it got notciably louder as well.
