I have Dynomax on my truck. It sounds great, but as the rpm's run through and level out, it is pretty quiet. I am thinking about switching to Magnaflow. I want to hear my exhaust all the time.

When my truck was stock,2V 5.4, I ran true duals with Flowmasters and Never felt Any loos of power!
Like was said before. It's a muffler not a power adder.

The Dynomax Bullet no doubt will flow much better than a 40 series, Bullet is flow through and will give a loud & deep growl, 40 series can too, but the Dynomax will be louder.

If you want a great deep toned exhaust, Flowmaster Super 44 muffer I say, I'm getting them for my truck.

& for an exen deeper sound, Magnaflow, though their stuff is pricey but it sounds deep!

Magnaflow?

My truck is totally stock. What if I replace just my stock muffler with a Magnaflow muffler? Would it do anything to make it sound better or do I have to spend 5 or 6 hundred to get a complete exhaust setup? I would think I might could cut the old one off and bolt in another? I want people to know it has a V8! If this is not wishful thinking, does anyone have a part number of a muffler that would be a good fit for this?

Thanks a million folks

I had Flowmaster Original 40s and switched to Dynomax Bullets, definitely worth the change.

I got a magnaflow system for mine at autoanything for 430 delivered to my door. I put it on this morning. It took me 25 minutes to uninstall and install the system. It was the dual side exit in front of the passenger side tires. I smiled as soon as I started it up. I had the help with a lift.

If the bullets are louder than the ultraflow welded then I would go with them. I have the 14" Ultraflow welded with a side exit. Looks clean, gives me great performance, but I would like it louder.
