dont buy the pre-fab kits. order 2 mufflers and 2 tips and go to your local exhasut shop and have them make some pipe and bend it for ya. it'll probably run you around $350-450

If your doing a si/do you will only need 1 muffler. I did what Russ47 suggests and ordered 1 muffler and 2 ss tips and brought them in to a exhaust shop to get installed. The shop charged me $175 after taxes.

the shop here quoted me 304 for magnaflow SIDO with chrome tips, and they would bend the pipes. thats exactly 436 cheaper than the truck shop wanted to install a magnaflow kit.

The muffler shop that I deal with charges $250 for alumized (sing-in/dual out muffler with dual tailpipes) and $350 for stainless. That includes both parts and labor.

if you go with flowmaster, i recomend the super44 over the 40 series. louder outside and less drone in the cab, its also more toned.

I paid $600 for my Magnaflow exhaust system, but keep in mind I had mine completely done in all stainless steel. I did not go with a kit. I had it all professionally bent/fitted and welded rather than going with the kit that includes
clamps. I'd suggest looking for a custom exhaust shop in your area and see what they charge.

Mandrel bent stainless true duals with a couple big Silverline tips welded up in a couple hours cost me $320. I've done business with this exhaust shop a few times before and he gave me a deal. Definately shop around and see how has the lowest price. And see if they have a catalog of exhausts they've done, look through it. See if it's up to par or if the customers were happy with it. I imagine what you're wanting will be around $200.

Wow! Even though I live in the land of ice & snow (and salt) in the winter time, I don't think I'd pay that price for stainless. I wonder why yours was so much more expensive?

I have $182 in my Magnaflow exhaust system. Ordered the Magnaflow muffler from performancepeddler.com and the Magnaflow tips from fleonline.com. Had a local muffler shop bend some pipe and install it. Same exhaust system would have cost me around $400 if I did not order everything online.
