Outlaw CAI installed

https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=8693

Pics in my gallery (in the "Summer - 2007" section). I like it. Sounds awesome, looks cool...great price. Got the Neveroil filter. Had no issues with the install and no issues since. Just wanted to share the pics of this CAI, since there aren't a whole lot of them that I found.

I have an 04 5.4 and haven't had any problems at all. It's only been a week yet. I would contact Aaron at Outlaw and see what he says. The kit that I was sent was the updated 2 piece version (see my gallery). If you had the 1 piece original, they will send you the 2 piece for free I believe if you contact them. If you have the 2 piece, I would try refitting everything and then also disconnecting the battery and letting it set while refitting. Also, I followed their instructions to a "T". I let the engine idle for 10 mins after I first started it up with the CAI and then drove it for about 4 or 5 miles easy. Taken it out several times since and laid heavy on the gas and have seen no problems. I would think that if I was going to see some problems, I would have by now. Just have to remember to recheck the connections periodically to make sure it is all good.

cool..good luck with the 2 piece kit...i bet it will work better for you as you will be able to control the angles of attaching more and the clamps will fit better...let us know how it works...
