Arrow Muffler swap

How much would it run me (labor and everything included) to swap out my old muffler and put in a flowmaster 40?

not to highjack the thread but I have a 4.2 and I want to put a muffler on it but I dont want that godawful v6 sound. I want it maybe a little louder but I want to add some low end torq. I know its not a v8 and it will never sound like one I just want to add a little low end torq. I see most like the magnaflow so what is a good one that wont be loud?

the super44 (i have) is more of a smooth tuned sound, and its a little louder then the 40 series outside and quieter in the cab also (less resonance).

the original 40 series (my friend has) is a little more of a raspier sound, and will be a lil louder inside the cab.

if you have a 6 cylinder engine dont get a flowmaster it will sound terrible.

flows tend to just drone like crazy on a v6, at least the louder ones like the 40s. but i dont really know becuase ive never heard them on a v6, just what ive heard from other people. search around and see what other members are running on their v6 engines, im sure you'll find the muffler you're lookin for

i bought my cherry bomb pro and put it in by myself. all i needed was a cutting torch and a new 2 1/2 inch in diameter with a flared end piece of pipe that was 2 feet long to do mine. and a couple of muffler clamps. all in all i spent under 60 bucks

Lightbulb

I pd $130 installed for my 24" Magnaflow. Still love the sound. I think it (or the 18") would sound good on a V6 too.
