I can't seem to find anything on this so-- how hard is it to pass emissions if you remove two of the cats on the f150? I have no cats on my mustang but I have to take it to a buddy to get it inspected 2hours away. I don't want to have the same issues with my DD. Anyone here from Texas or a more restrictive state have the cats removed? Any problems with the computer system after removal? Were you able to pass emissions? What about hollowing them out?

If your state does a visual inspection, you will not pass if you remove any of the factory installed cats. Reaming them out may or may not pass, depending on whether they do a IM-240 dyno run, simple sniff, and/or OBD-II readout. If all they do is a readout, it should pass as long as it doesn't throw any codes.
