Guys with Side Exit (Front of Tire)

I'm thinking about doing this setup, because I will be lifting my screw 6" and I wanted it to be clean from the back. I just bought nice American Racing Wheels (black) with a Machined Lip, Will I have any problems with exhaust on my wheels or body? Post Pics if you have any! I would like to do on on each side.

My Wheels:

I've had my exhaust exiting in front of my tire for over a month now. No signs of exhaust on my chrome wheels or body. I just have it exiting on one side, both wheels are the same. More residue on the front wheels from all the brake dust, next upgrade will be new brake pads.

over a year no problems, it will be very hard to get it to come out both sides due to the placement of the fuel tank

There was a TSB for the 1997 trucks, my brother's truck got a new exhaust, rim, and lugnuts in 1998 due to tarnishing of the wheel and lugnuts according to the Ford Oasis program. It seems some trucks did it and some didn't, kind of a luck of the draw thing.

here's a close-up of the tips, but I don't think you can just purchase the tips, they come welded to the rest of the exhaust.

Never a problem for over ten years on my '97. I put the Magnaflow on my '04 and there is no problem there either.

I went with the all black look. The only chrome is the wheels.
