Alot of people do that, but i recomend going to your local exhaust shop and having them bend the tubes and making duals.

I got true duals/2 Flowmaster mufflers/2 stainless steel tips out the back. Installed for under 500.

I just orderd mine w/ the supre44 muffler, 2 outlets and duals running out the back ( I will bend them out the sides at 90 deg) shipped for $240 from magnumexhuast off of ebay. It comes with tips (weld on), 2.25" piping.

flowmaster

I paid $200 for a dual system. S/I D/O flowmaster with chrome tips under the rear bumper. It is loud until you gte to around 60. It then is a quiet "drone" from the rear. In fact, with the radio on, you cannot hear the exhaust on the highway form inside the cab.

I just put a Flowmaster 40 on where the stock muffler was with a turn down right after. Sounds good to me.

the si/so will sound ok, but go with at least a si/do or a di/do to get the sound you want i have a flowmaster super 40 and it sounds great just cat back, im getting two maggie high flow cats instead of the 4 ford cats i got on there, ill let u kno how it sounds. my y-pipe just snapped on the manifold so all i hear is a loud junker that wakes up the neighbors.

Magnaflow is the way to go. You wont lose your low end power like you will with slowmaster.

I had a true dual set up installed with 2 Flowmasters and had No low end loss.
And that's when my motor was stock!
