Exhaust Ideas for 4.2L V6?

I'm in the market for a good exhaust system to fit a 1998 Ford F-150 with a 4.2L V6. I was thinking either Flowmaster or Borla. From what I hear they have good reputation. Is there any cat-back systems under $400 out there that can fit my truck? Thanks!

The best sounding 6 cylinders that I've heard were all running Magnaflow. To me the Flows are a little loud & raspy to sound good on a 6, not to mention the drone.

I don't think I've ever heard a Borla system.

Do you know where I can get one of these? And what type of Magnaflow exhaust package?

After a month I cut the Flowmaster 40 off and just ordered a Maganflow 11256 Satin Stainless insulated streight flow from www.hottexhaust.com thinking about dumping it streight down instead of rear exit this time

2006 V6 4.2

Visit the vendors on this site, ebay, local muffler shops. I got a good price locally.

I went on Magnaflow's website and a few others but it seems none of them offer cat-backs for the 4.2L of any year F-150. I guess I'll keep looking.

Exhaust for V6's aren't in high demand like V8's. Have you checked your local muffler shops. I had my my Magnaflow muffler and mandrel bent pipes installed for $240.
