K&N vs AF1

JB - please read this:

Also - materials... polished aluminum (77 series)=worst. Plastic = better. Polished SS=best. And none of it matters at speed, where the IAT's are very similar.

And despite urban legend - K&N did not do enough R&D on these trucks. Which is why AF1's blow them right out of the water. Talk to Mike Troyer, ok?

im trying to convince my dad to get one for his 04, I told him the K&N will blow up his motor!! Then he told him to get away from him. I will be getting the AF1 intake soon. So I told my dad we could get one together and get our trucks tuned too.

Anyone running a AF1 with and Edge? I have the Edge but Im wondering how it will function if I add an AF1?

David, I called Troyer and talked with a nice lady. She said the AF1 3" will be fine with the edge.

For those doing K&N, are you guys using the "77 kit" or the "Aircharger kit"?? Other than the piping is there a difference between the two?
