best enter, burn, and exit combos?

Intake, programmer, and exhaust that is......
Got an 06 Screw with a 4.6 thats in serious need of a performance boost.
I know this is kind of a hard question to answer but there has to be some serious tuners out there that love to experiment with their trucks.
I'm gonna order all this in one shot for my brother so I gotta get it right the first time.

Intakes: 3" intakes or what? Oiled, non oiled?
Exhaust: 2.25", 2.5", or 3 inch exhausts? Dual or side swept? I know we arent working with some 500+ hp engine so I wouldnt think that it would need a true dual 3" Exhaust. Also, if there is a Cat back system out there that is recommended, please tell me. If nothing else, we can custom build a setup to mirror that system.
From my experience with exhausts, if you go too large on a stock engine , you'll lose your torque. I would rather keep the Torque pretty much where it is (or gain) and get some HP too.
From my readings here I get that the Troyer (sp) tune is preferred among the group. I want to be able to put together a "performance package" for his truck that will enable the truck to have optimal grunt and allow the proper A/F ratios to be tuned in with the tuner.

This truck isnt gonna be racing at the strip but it will pull a trailer now and then and theres nothing like taking off at a red light and barking the tires.

Thank you for your time.
Also, nice site!

Contact Mike Troyer at Troyer Performance. He is a supporting sponsor of the site and they have done very extensive research in gaining the most out of out trucks. Here is his website http://www.troyerperformance.com

When you call troyer, make sure to let them know you are a member of this site and you will get a bit of a discount. (If my memory serves correct. lol.)
