Magnaflow exhaust clamps leaking?

My exhaust clamps are leaking and it is creating excessive noise in the cab of my truck! I fixed it once but when my truck was taken through a car wash they same thing happened again? Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the leaks and get the noise down in my cab? I know that it is on correctly and that the noise is not from just getting worn in. So, if you have the same issues and have found a way to correct them, I would greatly appreciate that info

Thumbs up

The same thing happened to me.

Mine was because the joints weren't fully seated and I was getting an exhaust leak after warm up immediately before and after the muffler.

NAPA has some really nice stainless exhaust band clamps. They're pricey but they are also about 3" wide and will completely seal across your joints.

I only needed 2 since I only had two leaks and they cost me about $20 total.

I was getting a drone at around 55 mph. Not sure if it was from the leaks or the stresses in the system but it is completely gone since I swapped out those clamps.

get the joints welded. clamps suck and can come loose.
