I'm hopin that someone has some insight on whether or not the drone will get better or worse as the muffler breaks in. The one I heard was just right, but brand new. So if it got much worse, I think it would be too much...

My experience is that they get a little louder with some age.

 

I'd listen to bluejay, he knows about age.

 

same as with the drone that comes from your wife / girlfriend, you learn to tune it out..

 

only the truck drone is a satisfying drone, not a whiny annoying drone
