cheap exhaust

hey guys i am new to this site i am looking to put an exhaust system on my 2000 f 150 i don't want to spend alot of money and i don't want it to be extremely loud just noticable do you guys have any ideas as of where to start? thanks

Have them put on a muffler then dump it. All you will have to buy is the muffler and turndowns. I had them do that to mine last weekend. I put on a flowmaster 40 series with turndowns for 125 bucks. Sounds great and it is cheap.

Stay away from flowmaster. If you want loud, get a dynomax race bullet dumped. That would scream.

hey skooba is yours just duals from the mufler back then? do they exit out the side or the back? just wandering i was gunna try and do it myself instead of take it somewhere thanks

Mine is just a SIDO Flowmaster 40 series with two turndowns right off the muffler. You probably wouldn't even have to put the turndowns on it. I went with a SIDO because if i didn't like it dumped you could always have the option of running pipes out the back. But i like it dumped so i will probably leave it that way.

Yes, it splits from one to two at the muffler then the turndowns.
