install intake

I ordered an air intake today. Is it hard to install I looked to see what I would have to do. It didnt look to hard but looks can be deceiving. 2003 5.4

I suppose it depends on what you ordered, but no it's not hard to do at all.. should take you maybe 30 -60 minutes depending how many times you double check everything.. easy install and hopefully better performance, can say the AF1 makes more hp anyhow.. just make sure you orient your MAF in the same position as it was stock..

The following takes place between 1 am and 2 am.. LOL..

By orientation I mean before you remove your stock intake note how your MAF (the only piece with wires attached) is mounted.. on my '05 4.6L it needs to be in a vertical position, perpendicular to the ground... it's actually very important that you keep your MAF in the same position as it was stock..
Here's a pic of my AF1, note that the MAF is in a vertical position, but just install yours in whatever position your stock is..
