Flamethrower

Someone the other day was telling me about a flamethrower kit you can buy to put in your truck that shoots flames out of the tail pipes that runs to a toggle switch, does anyone know how this works, a place to get it, and if it would be difficult to install? I cant seem to find anything about it on the net.

just weld a 3/8 nut onto the pipe and run a sparkplug into it.... Thats the easy old way to do it. Im sure they have fancy new tricks these days... Or just go buy a new 08 SuperDuty

I remeber a couple years back they did it on Trucks on powerblock, I remember that he ran some type of gas lines to it and installed a switch & all, but looked cool, flames shot out about 3ft lol.

LOL at least my mind isn't the only one in the gutter. On a serious note...I don't really think thats a good mod...unless you have like a crazy hot-rod or somethin' and even then...what will it do to an F150...melt the bumper and all the surroundings? Kinda useless IMHO.

That's awesome! You're wondering if it's legal to make fire shoot out of the back of your truck? BBQing pedestrians, starting forest fires, and melting tailgaters? I don't see any legal issues at all!!

yes, it is illegal.

yes, the propane way is one way to do it (and quite easy/safe).

if you do the mod, don't be using on the road. the flames can shoot waaaay more than 3 ft.
