I was up at school and came across the flame thrower kit. I had $150 in my account and told my roomates that i was going to buy the kit if it was under $150 just for the hey of it. Well turns out it was only $125 for a single exhaust, i didnt really want to buy it but my roomates said that i gave my word. luckily though i started reading and they wont work on our trucks or 90% of trucks that are out there. you can't run one of these throwers with a cat and since we have four i was off the hook thankfully. i still have the site saved in my bookmarks though, here it is http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/Autol...ts_Flame.lasso

I think it works by letting unburnt fuel go through your exhaust and then a seperate coil and plug fires it up. Thats what I remember seeing on trucks. I miss Stacey David too, these new guys are boneheads, they haven't done one really cool project yet.

Well that red singlecab F150 they created into a Roush Supercharged was sweet, I like that truck alot S10k was sweet too, though making it a dragster now... ehh..

Stacey David was cool, he was straight to the point & simple, and did a good job on that show

if you have cats then you have to add a fuel, ie propane,

if you don't have cats then all you do is rig up a spark plug to a switch then hit the switch and hit the go fast pedal and you've got flames.

I have a kit for the dual exhaust, but am not gonna do it cuz 1. You have to cut the cats and 2. You have to splice into the main coil pack wire running straight out of the computer (or somethin like that, hell I aint quite sure) and I don't wanna void my warranty out for that. Anyway I am goint to sell it and it will be in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Anyone know how to rig one up using propane, and how much work goes into it?
