Magnaflow switcheroo?

Does anybody know if it is possible to interchange the banks muffler on the monster exhaust system with a magnaflow muffler, keeping my banks piping? I am assuming that the muffler is the key to the performance difference between the two systems.

It should be, as long as the inlets match up, you can add piping in or remove piping of the tips to match up with the magnaflow outlet.

why? I am pretty sure the banks will give you just as good of gains as the magnaflow. Banks has a great rep for a reason. Even if the magnaflow gives you 5 hp more... you will never know the difference to justify the cost. If you have extra money to blow... send it my way!

From what I understand there is significant low end torque loss with the Banks, where the magnaflow shows increased performance throughout the band.
