Update to pryor thread

I posted about wanting to put together my own system a few days ago. Here's my issue. I want to do the "lightning style". I"m getting the muffler (#12288) magnaflow, having my own guy put it together with pipe and tips. I"m wanting to HPC coat the pipe inside and out and outside of muffler. Then I can do a black HPC coat on the tips (which will look bad A$$ IMHO). The guy at the coating shop says if I weld everything together he can still coat the inside of the pipes, outside of pipes, outside of muffler, and then go back and coat the tips afterward. the thing is how can I keep the coating material from getting into the muffler where the pipes are getting coated? Or does that even matter. I may be worried about nothing at all. Or are the aftermarket clamps good enough to use for this application? If anyone has any other ideas, please feel free to fire them at me. Thanks guys.
