uh you wanted legal???? that means cats and mufflers...

OBX on ebay sells the headers (stainless steel but the Y-pipe had resonators instead of cats) take out your wheel liners and you shouldn't have to lift the block

actually, the '04 up trucks with 5.4L require the passenger side of the block to be lifted up 1inch to access some bolts on the block.this is why I put off my header install for a little while.

I think longtubes are illegal on street vehicles regardless. Maybe in NC it;s different, but you need to make sure you have all emissions equipment on or it will run like pure butt.

they may be illegal, but nobody inforces it around here, well no where but CA from what I know... I dont have any emissions stuff, and it runs great.

Put mine on in a bout 3 hours, did not have to lift the engine. All and all I thought it was easy tedious but easy
(turn flip the wrench turn flip the wrench about 1/16th turn at a time)
