Airaid Intake

Just ordered an Airaid Cold Air Intake for my 06' 4.6 Screw from Auto Anything. Was wondering if anyone has any pros or cons for this particular item. There aren't a lot of choices out there for the 4.6, Airaid and K&N are the only ones listed as fitting the 4.6, so I went with the Airaid over the K&N based on the customer reviews I read on their site. Just curious if anyone has any info, I would appreciate it.

Supposedly one of the best brands out there. I've never owned it, but will in a month or so.

My main

concern would be to get a CEL after I put it on. I saw no mention of it in the airaid reviews I read.

no need to worry, AIRAID designs ther kits very well. They are in 2nd place of the top 5 intakes for the 4.6L and 5.4L out of some 20 intakes. the only one better is the Airforce one. I've had my airaid for ~1 year now no issues or codes.

did you notice

significant gains in power, mpg...etc. when you went to the airaid? I hope it's not $300.00 spent for little or no difference.

thanks for the info

Mine should be here by the weekend. I'll let you know after I install it how it does on the 4.6.
