Difference between AF1 3.0 and 3.5 intakes

Thinking of switching out my Airaid intake for AF1.
What is the difference between the 3.0 and 3.5 versions.
I have an 04 Screw 5.4. SuperChips 1714 tuner in Perf 91 mode. Magnaflow catback...Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Apparantly the 3.5 may cause an overly lean condition which requires a custom tune to rectify.
The 3" doesn't need the tune.
There's a thread for this here:

If the 3.5 AF1 creates a lean condition...the K&N creates a lean condition...the AEM creates a lean condition...

But the 3" AF1 doesn't create a lean condition...

Is that basically saying that the 3" AF1 doesn't really suck in any more air than the stock setup?

I might have my terminology wrong, but the info is in that link.

The 3" AF1 says it's only for the 4.6L and the 3.5" is for the 5.4L...although you are correct, that is what people are recomending to do -- that is put the 4.6 intake on the 5.4.
