Intake noise under hard acceleration

I've noticed that when i gun my truck and it shifts at high RPM's it makes a high pitched sucking noise that sounds like the noise that the riced out civics make when they shift gears. Is this normal???

I have an S&B on my 5.4 and it definately makes some noise under hard acceleration. That's pretty normal for high flow intake systems. I hardly notice it now that I have installed my exhaust, that drowns it out.
