Exclamation X Pipe Question

Ok, for all you experts out there... I drive an 03 4wd F150. I want to know if there is room to put in an X Pipe, or if the t-case will prevent me from doing so.
I also hear that you can have one custom built. Is that true as well?

X pipe

I'm sure a good muffler shop can install an X pipe for you. There are several X pipes out there,Magnaflow makes an excellent one,I have their X on my truck,Bassani makes a universal application that will fit your truck,BBK makes an X pipe, and I just discovered that Spintech makes an X pipe for a Ford truck, the Magnaflow will run you about $90.00 on e-bay,I believe the others are a little more expensive.I'm sure the shop you choose to do your exhaust could fab and install an X pipe for you,but I bet it would be cheaper to buy one and have them install it.It cost me $50.00 to install mine. You wont be disappointed w/ the X,mine sounds awesome especially w/ the high flows and the FM's I have.Hope this helped, good luck w/ your exhaust.

Ok, went to the troyer performance site, they listed two magnaflow x pipes, the 2.25 in, and the 2.50 in. What are the performance differences in each one?

for peak tq use 2.25- 2.5 will be better near redline but how often do you drive there? is it a 4.6 or 5.4?
