Best MagnaFlow & Flowmastert

Hey all. I just purchased a brand new 2007 F150 Lariat SuperCrew. Its Black with the chrome trim. I pretty much have all my exterior trim finished. I also orderd a K&N CAI. I am now on the troubling question of exhaust.

What are the best Models of each Magnaflow and Flowmasters for the 07 F150? I was looking into Flowmaster 50's but now that I started reading most of these threads I am even more confused on which will be the best fit for my truck. Any help, opinions, anything would be amazing!

Ah, sorry all I should have put this thread under the "Aftermarket" Section. Could a mod possibly move it? Sorry.

not a Magnaflow know it all but I know my Flowmasters, 40 series is one of the best, loud & deep, but has been known to give a highway drone which annoys most ppl, not me though lol. 50 series is quieter but is still heard well, better for around the neighborhood and it wont wake everyone up.

I got the Magnaflow 3" / 2.5" SI/DO (12288) and had a local shop custom bend the pipes since there isnt' an aftermarket kit (for 2007's) to put them "Harley Style" behind the rear wheel. Total cost $270, I bought the muffler from performancepeddler and used the shops tips.

Nice rumble at idle, you can hear it when acellerating and quiets down with no drone when cruising. Works for me.

Magnaflow.
Like Gunny, I went with just a muffler replacement but I dumped it before the axle.

Did you go with 14", 18" or 24" muffler? Do you get any drone in the cab with it dumped before the axel?
