Exclamation Help!! Af1 Intake Questions!!

I PLAN ON INSTALLING A AF1 INTAKE ON MY 97 F150 4X4 4.6L. DOES ALL THE FACTORY INTAKE WIRING HOOK UP TO IT? WHAT ABOUT THE MAF SENSOR. HOW DO I HOOK THAT UP?

Hi.

First - pleae turn caps off - you're yelling lol.

Your unit should have come with instructions. If new, insist on having them - otherwise it's a matter of common sense & a little patience.

Disconnect the battery - MAF should never be unplugged with the batt on.

The MAF is removed from the stock intake, then installed at the end of of the SS tube. Ensure the MAF is oriented Exactly like it was when you removed it. This is important.

Th MAF factory connector plugs back in - connector shold be oriented vertically. Slide the protective boot on.

The IAT sensor goes into a rubber grommet on the tube.

The two hoses near the TB go into their respective ports on the TB-tube rubber adapter.

Don't forget the O-ring between the MAF and filter adapter/venturi.

thanx. i havent bought the intake yet. i was jus checking about it before i get myself into sumthin i dnt noe about. thanx for the help. and i promise not to yell at u n e more. haha
