Gibson S/S Exhaust, is this right?

I ordered a Super Exhaust from gibson for my truck, from the picture i looked at on many diffrent sites the stainless version has the shinny coat on the whole system....so why did mine look like it was aluminized..? I called Gibson and they had said thats a common missunderstanding, so why do they show it polished?

They show the polished version to catch your eye. I would rather have the non-polished version anyways. It's not like my truck is a show truck, & I sure as hell ain't crawling underneath to polish it.

I'm sending it back, i figured for the price it was okay to get somthin polished....but i'm not spending extra for somthin that looks aluminized. I'd rather get the cheaper one if it came to that.

Heck it even came it burn marks on the muffler and painted silver over the welds..i won't do buisness with gibson again for misleading me that way.

Mine is rusting on the welds pretty bad. I don't know how they are cutting corners over there. I just love the sound of it though I have 3" SI/SO SS before rear tire. Love the sound.

I actually lost low end torque with my Gibson cat back. I'm going with Maganflow next time!
