Cool exhasut for i6

wat is the best sounding set up that i could put on a '96 f-150 i6, i have considered 1-2 glasspacks, flowmaster, which i have not found to be very good, magnaflow, or dynomax, and which would sound better with the dynomax or the magnaflow, 1 or 2 mufflers, to make it true duals

Yes, they are some of the quitest on the market. But that's what I want if I had a V6. The louder the exhaust, they worse they sound. Reminds me of those annoying Honda's with the large fart cans. I've never heard a Dynomax on a 6.

I also have a 300 I6 and i need a new muffler for sure and was wanting to put dual exhaust on it...i always have been told that 6s sound wimpy but i heard a friends 4.3l s10 v6 and it sounded alot better than those fart cans on cars. the 300 4.9l is bigger so wouldnt have even a better sound?? i think straight back duals would look the best.

yeah i have duals out the back with the boom tubes sticking out about 3 inches. you would be surprised on how it sounds im really glad i put em on.. i was originally going to dual it out and give it side exit but to the rear was very easy so we went that route.. for a homemade duals it came to about 150 can $ i had to buy all the fitting because i put 1 3/4 id pipe.. on cold days or in the morning when its on high idle the boom tubes make it really echo while idleing that's my favourite partof the day.. listening to the old beast idle.. any ways enough blabbing on!

That's another reason I was recommened Magnaflow because they don't rust out.. Even the guy at the muffler shop said that 'cause they're stainless steel or whatever.. They said Flowmaster's the one that rust out.. idk it's just what I was told, I could be wrong though..

From Magnaflow's website:

Lifetime Warranty
The manufacturer warrants that all Magnaflow Performance products are free from defects. Most of our mufflers* are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the muffler is not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed.

This warranty does not apply to any muffler which has been installed on any commercial or racing vehicle or which has been improperly installed, altered, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement muffler are not covered by this warranty.

The warranty certificate, along with proof of purchase, MUST be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the muffler, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original muffler must also be returned and exchanged for a new muffler of the same part number.

From Flowmaster's website:
TEN (10) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR STAINLESS STEEL MUFFLERS

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ALUMINIZED MUFFLERS, KITS, AND OTHER NON-RACE PRODUCTS

its not a V-6, its a straight 6, and right no im running no muffler and it sounds a little quieter than my cousins 01 F-150 5.4, with no exhaust.
